A Well-Rounded Affair: Wheel of Games Community Portal Starts Into Beta Phase

Hilden, March 3rd, 2009: Two Pi Team starts into beta phase with its web portal Wheel of Games, which offers all about video games. Features of the community portal are in addition to a guild database and an extensive event section the Encyclopedia MMORPGia - the largest online glossary for MMOG players - just as RSS feeds to keep everyone up to date with the latest news in the games world. The whole content is available in English and German at www.wheel-of-games.com right from the start to support international socializing. To celebrate its start Wheel of Games is running a prize draw for 10 season tickets for the Roleplay Convention, which takes place from 3rd-5th April in Cologne.

"Due to our long lasting experience in the business section of community management we know what gamers want and wish for in regard to information and interaction with their fellow people", states Thomas Lagemann, proprietor of Two Pi Team. "Therefore we focused on aspects as for example the guild database, which allows players to join forces by detailed request."

Another principal item of the portal is its event website, which informs users about world-wide events and also enables them to exchange opinions. The database offers more than the usual public fairs, but also takes professional conferences and awards just as network parties and roleplay events into account.

"Users can add to the database on their own. For example, they might include a public meeting of a large guild", adds Nadja Bastawi, proprietor of Two Pi Team. "Besides voicing their opinion on recorded events users may also make recommendations for lodging or look for ride shares."

To support Wheel of Games Lena „Amonbell“ Eierhoff and Julius „Amrac“ Kuschke, who enrich the team because of their long lasting experience in the MMOG area, will extend the well-oiled Two Pi Team. Eierhoff and Kuschke contribute to the Wheel of Games network by launching its first fansite SWTOR-Station, dealing with the game Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Wheel of Games is currently in beta phase and is accessible at www.wheel-of-games.com. Further features complementing the actual choice are already in the making.
