Two Pi Team goes GCO

Hilden, February 26th, 2010: In the context of today’s Games Convention Online press release, Two Pi Team is pleased to announce that co-operation with Games Convention Online, as announced elsewhere, will be deepened with regard to the focus areas of Community Management, Communication and Organization. Germany’s biggest community meeting for online gamers will take place from July 9th till July 11th 2010 during the Games Convention Online (July 8th to 11th 2010). Under the professional care of Two Pi Team, the Community Zone will offer members of clans, guilds, teams, corporations, fans or forums the opportunity to meet, play and celebrate together.
Being in charge of the diverse fields of communicating with the communities, Two Pi Team is offering a place for discussions prior to the convention itself on the official Games Convention Online forums. Moreover, Two Pi Team will be organizing and moderating the Community Stage’s entertainment program and various workshops that are tailored to the needs of our visitors, communities and gamers.

In this context, the guild Gothic, one of Germany’s top-rated guilds, will be presenting themselves at the Games Convention Online and offer their help and experience prior to the convention to any gamer interested in all questions concerning life inside a guild or clan, organizing a guild, building up a web presentation, using team speak or organizing real-life meetings at the Games Convention Online (You can contact them at wled@gilde-gothic.de).

The first Guild and Clan Conference will take place as early as Friday, giving gamers the opportunity to address game developers, publishers and community managers with their questions, criticism and requests. An exclusive guild panel will focus on the latest development of community work. Workshops for web design and discussion panels about life in clans offer valuable information for successful guild development. The Games Convention Online and the gaming industry invite you, to enjoy a community party on Friday evening at the beach club on the open air area of the trade fair, in order to celebrate together – fun guaranteed!
